AGLED | Acoustic Gas Leak Early Detection
AGLED technology is a flagship example of our expertise in supervised AI. Developed through a long-standing R&D partnership with TotalEnergies initiated in 2018, this solution was designed for the monitoring of complex industrial sites.
Key capabilities of the AGLED system in its Network version include:
- A system of antennas connected via a server that merges information from the various sensors.
- Detection of any type of gas.
- Near real-time monitoring (analysis every 12 seconds).
- Use of 4-microphone antennas for precise localization.
- Leak detection, localization, and classification capabilities.
Key capabilities of the AGLED system in its Single-point version include:
- An independent and autonomous sensor embedding processing codes.
- Detection of any type of gas.
- Real-time monitoring (analysis every second).
- Use of 4-microphone antennas for precise leak origin determination, even in complex environments.
- Leak detection, localization, and classification capabilities from an estimated monitoring distance.
In 2022, the prototype antennas obtained ATEX Zone 1 Ex ib IIC T4 Gb (-20°C < Ta < +45°C) certification.
Each antenna in the AGLED system integrates software for early gas leak detection and localization. Its main functions are to:
- Record the audio signal captured by the antenna’s microphones.
- Calculate and transmit a gas leak probability.
- Determine and transmit angular localizations and a localization function.
- Estimate the antenna’s state of health through a built-in self-test.
